Arcade Fire cover ‘Baby Mine’ for ‘Dumbo’.
‘Dumbo’ is the latest Disney classic to get a reboot nearly 80 years after the original animation came out. Directed by Tim Burton - always one to give a twist to things - it is set to be released later this month, but we have already been given some sneak peaks in to the appearance of the movie, and its soundtrack.
‘Baby Mine’ is a sad, sleepy lullaby from the original - and for the modern version, it has been covered by Arcade Fire. The band are no strangers to movie collabs, having already appeared in the credits for the soundtrack of Spike Jonez’s AI romance ‘Her’, and they give ‘Baby Mine’ a new angle with that classic sound they are known for.
Norweigan singer Aurora also has a cover of the song appearing in the film. Watch the visuals released for Arcade Fire’s version below.
