Charli XCX cast in 'The Angry Birds Movie'.

Charli XCX is branching out into film, and will voice a bird named Willow in the upcoming film, 'The Angry Birds Movie'.

The announcement was confirmed by John Cohen, the producer of the film:

The movie is set for release on May 12 in New Zealand, and also stars the voices of Kate McKinnon, Peter Dinklage, Keegan-Michael Key, Hannibal Buress, Bill Hader, Maya Rudolph, and more.
