'The Death Cure' pushed back to a 2018 release.
With Dylan O'Brien continuing to recover from his on-set injuries, the release date of the next Maze Runner film, 'The Death Cure', has now been pushed back to January 2018.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, production was shut down for the foreseeable future on April 29th - click here for more info.
"According to sources, O'Brien was in a harness on top of a moving vehicle when he was pulled off the vehicle unexpectedly and hit by another vehicle. His injuries were described in a report from WorkSafeBC as including a "concussion, facial fracture and lacerations." When the production shutdown was extended, insiders told THR that O'Brien's injuries were more severe than initially believed."
