Florence + The Machine unveils new song 'Hunger' + 'High As Hope' album info.
After premiering her new single 'Hunger' with Annie Mac on BBC Radio 1 just now, Florence + The Machine has also shared a music video for the song, directed by AG Rojas and filmed at an art museum.
About 'Hunger', Flo says: "This song is about the ways we look for love in things that are perhaps not love, and how attempts to feel less alone can sometimes isolate us more. I guess I made myself more vulnerable in this song to encourage connection, because perhaps a lot more of us feel this way than we are able to admit. Sometimes when you can’t say it, you can sing it."
'Hunger' is lifted from Flo's forthcoming album, 'High As Hope' (out June 29th), which was co-produced with Emile Haynie - and features collaborations from Kamasi Washington, Sampha, Tobias Jesso Jr., Kelsey Lu, and Jamie xx.
