Listen: Mermaidens' new song 'Undergrowth'.

Our favourite New Zealand act at the moment Mermaidens are set to release their debut album on March 18th - and ahead of the release they've shared the title track, 'Undergrowth'.

They described the song as “a coastal stroll along haunted shorelines," and it's exactly that - it has magnificent swells, and is getting me all the more excited for the release of their album.

The Wellington based group are heading on tour to celebrate the release of the album, check out the dates below:

March 18th: Wellington - San Fran with Hex and Womb.
April 8th: Auckland - Whammy Backroom, Double album release with Kane Strang.
April 9th: Mt Maunganui - Imbibe Bar with Threat.Meet.Protocol.
April 15th: Palmy - Great Job with Token Effort and Fruit Juice Parade (all ages).
April 16th: Whanganui - The Old Arc with Robin.

All gigs are $10 on the door except the double release in Auckland, which is $15.
