5 reasons to watch John Mayer live next March.
Christmas has come early this year, with John Mayer announcing last week that he’s bringing his live show back to New Zealand for a very special one-off show at Spark Arena on March 23.
To celebrate the show - plus the fact that tickets have just gone on sale, we’ve put together five reasons why tickets to the show should be at the top of your Christmas wish list.
Check them all out below…
#1. The show is called An Evening with John Mayer, and will be his first appearance in New Zealand since back in 2014! The show will span his entire recording career, which means he might play his best ever song, ‘Slow Dancing In A Burning Room’.
#2. He just recently promised on his Instagram that we’ll be getting “new stuff soon.” Which means by next March, there might be new John Mayer music in the world - which means new John Mayer music live!
#3. He’ll probably play some of his newer material, like ‘Still Feel Like Your Man’ from his latest album ‘The Search For Everything’. Watch him perform the track on The Ellen Show below:
#4. His show in Auckland happens to fall on a Saturday, and his next show isn’t until the Monday - which means he might be in New Zealand on Sunday, which happens to be the day he does his weekly Instagram live show, ‘Current Mood’. Check out the latest episode featuring Halsey! Who knows, maybe he’ll get a New Zealander to feature in it?
#5. The final point is just an appreciation for the brilliant song that is ‘New Light’ - and you can watch an hour and eighteen minutes of Mayer talking about the song with Zane Lowe here:
